“The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”
Psalm 23 NIV
When you look at the most famous recited Psalm and prayer is Psalm 23; it starts by saying the LORD is my shepherd. The assignment of a shepherd is to direct the sheep so that they don’t get lost, they don’t fall into a trap, and so they don’t get attacked in the forest.
What dark moments or difficult situations are you facing right now and where is your faith placed? Beloved, if this is a moment for you to surrender these situations to God and to trust Him to do the impossible for you, then now is the time to do it. Trust God, have faith, and see how He works.
In my prayer closet today, the Lord told me to let you know that He will be your shepherd and He will preserve you and your loved ones from trouble.
I See A Spirit of Setback
You’ve been in the spirit of setback because of what you’ve been naming it. My Beloved, you have the ability to name your circumstances, your situations and your dilemmas. It’s what you are naming it and how you are naming it that is causing your setbacks. This season, God is giving you the power to rename the situation that has been tormenting you. I want you to send me (4) things that you need to rename in your life.
