Here’s a hard truth: it is much easier for us to tell others to trust in God whenever they have problems – yet the moment we are in a similar situation, it is much harder for us to speak the same truth to ourselves. Have you ever found yourself in a situation that caused you to doubt God’s goodness in your life because of the gravity of your circumstances?
Beloved, today is an appointed day for you to be reminded to trust in God and have complete faith in Him. This is not to say that when we do trust God our situations become easier. Oftentimes, we continue to feel pressure, stress, and whatever anxiety is connected to our situation. But the difference is that when we put our faith in God, when we trust Him to bring us through a tough situation, the object of our trust is no longer in our own capability to “save” ourselves, but rightfully in God, who is all-powerful and beyond able to deliver us from our “storms”!
Remember His declaration in Matthew 17:20 when His Son Jesus healed a demon-possessed boy: “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Do you know what this means for your life? It means that when you trust God, when you choose to have faith in His promises, you are opening your heart and your life for Him to do the impossible and the miraculous! God has the amazing ability to repurpose our darker moments and surprise us with miracles that can only come about as a response to us putting faith in Him.
What dark moments or difficult situations are you facing right now and where is your faith placed? Beloved, if this is a moment for you to surrender these situations to God and to trust Him to do the impossible for you, then now is the time to do it. Trust God, have faith, and see how He works.
Get Ready To Spring Forth
I saw you, bent over digging in the ground as though you were looking for something. Do not let the enemy trick you, to dig up what you have sown. I saw the fruit of your seed. The ground that your seed has been planted in is about to take root to spring forth your HARVEST.
