Proclaim Peace During the Coronavirus Outbreak
We have put together 7 Bible verses for you to remember and proclaim when you are fearful and confused during the coronavirus outbreak.
Let’s start by cutting off the spirit of fear from the coronavirus outbreak. It has come over you, but in Jesus’ name, it will be broken off.
1. God Gives You a Spirit of Sound Mind
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”—Romans 12:2
Father God, this world wants to pull me into a mindset of confusion and fear because of the coronavirus outbreak. I cut off this spirit of fear, in Jesus’ name. I will not be conformed to this world that is panicking but be transformed by the renewal of my mind. I will seek the Spirit so that I will know and do you good and perfect will.
2. God Is Faithful
“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”—Deuteronomy 7:9
Father God, you are a God that is faithful to your Word and covenant promises. I proclaim today that in Jesus’ name, your faithful Word of love will prosper in my life.
3. God Is the God of Peace
“’I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’”—John 16:33
Father God, you have given us great peace through Jesus Christ. Your peace overcomes the trouble of this world. We can take heart because you have overcome the world.
4. God is the God of Provision
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”—Philippians 4:19
Father God, you are the God of my provision. You bless me according to your glorious riches in Jesus. I have all I ever need, and I shall not be afraid or want. You are my shepherd who guides me with your rod and your staff. Guide me into the peace of your provision.
5. God Is the God of Hope
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.”—Romans 5:1-2
Father God, I rejoice in the hope I have because the blood of Jesus has justified me. I have gained access to grace because of my faith. I hope for the things that I cannot see and your promises.
6. God Secures Your Future
“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”—Jeremiah 29:11
Father God, you know my future. You see the future of our nation. You have planned the future of my family, finances, health, and marriage. Father, I trust in your plans that they are full of hope and that they will prosper according to your Word. Lord Jesus, your Word says that you will instruct me in the ways I should go. I ask that your Spirit guides me with wisdom and discernment during these times of uncertainty.
7. God Calms the Storm
“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.”—Mark 4:39
Father God, in Jesus’ name, I proclaim the storm that is happening in my emotions and mind is quieted. You have power of the wind and waves. You are in control when the world that surrounds me seems to be falling apart. I call on the name of Jesus, right now, to quiet the storm within me. May your name be lifted and glorified as peace takes the place of the storm.
Beloved, remember that the Spirit of God anoints you. You are blessed. You are not alone.
Remember these promises and proclaim them every day.
